We offer truly transformational opportunities for young people through sailing and watersports. If you're considering a career in yachting or watersports, we will have a course to suit you, whether you are an entry-level novice or a professional looking to top up your training and qualifications.
What makes your company different from the competition?
UKSA offer the very best professional maritime training courses alongside youth development programmes to transform young people’s lives. We don't just offer certification and training, as a youth charity we can offer that bit extra and make sure we really look after our young people. Our professional careers students benefit from 1:1 mentoring, access to our careers network, realistic careers advice and help with CVs. We help over 10,000 people a year to achieve their personal best. We have a fantastic fleet, a waterfront campus, inspirational instructors and great facilities.
How many people do you employ or train each year?
We have around 10,000 young people through our doors each year which can range from up to 200 school children a day through to 30 cadets a year on our flagship course, the Superyacht Cadetship.
Why are you a good company to work for or train with?
People should train with us for several reasons. As a youth charity, providing opportunities for young people is at the core of everything we do. We often have funding opportunities available. Our courses lead people towards careers in the watersports industry, the maritime/yachting industry and in particular the growing (and lucrative) superyacht sector.
