Manor Adventure is an independent group of residential activity centres offering outdoor pursuits courses for school groups during term time. Our UK locations are Shropshire, Norfolk, Derbyshire, Powys and Lockerbie and our French centres are in Somme and Picardy, Northern France.
What makes your company different from the competition?
Lots of activity centres are just about having fun. While this is an important part of learning, we like to make the most of the educational and personal benefits of outdoor pursuits by maximising the experience for every child who stays with us.
We invest our profits back into the training of our instructors, and into the equipment and facilities at each of our six centres.
How many people do you employ or train each year?
Each season we recruit more than 100 activity instructors to work at our centres between January and November.
Why are you a good company to work for or train with?
We provide full training, so welcome applications from people who have no previous experience of instructing.
The best applicants during the year are shortlisted and will be invited to one of our selection weekends. These allow us to introduce you to the company and demonstrate what it is like to be a Manor Adventure multi-activity instructor. Selection is also the opportunity for you to show us why we should consider you for one of our highly sought after vacancies. We will be looking for your ability to work as part of a team, your enthusiasm for the activities and of course your safety awareness.
Yes, we have obstacle courses, high ropes and zip wires, but we aren't expecting you to be a the kind of person who spends every spare minute of the day in the gym. As long as you are averagely active we welcome your application.
