Adventure Training Courses

Make your application stand out with NGB qualifications

Training courses and paid employment go hand in hand. Adventure companies realise that the majority of applicants are young, and often inexperienced, so training is a big part of the industry. Anyone who is going to teach members of the public, often children, how to safely enjoy a new sport is going to need to be well qualified. Some multi-activity centres include plenty of on the job training, but specialist centres have become established purely to train people to national standards - an overhaul of which was undertaken in 2009.

Getting professional coaching qualifications in your chosen area or areas is a great way to show your would be employers that you are capable of doing the work. NGBs also help you improve your own skills and technique, whether you are moving through the different classes of sailing, or working your way towards an internationally recognised mountain instructor qualification. We advertise lots of excellent courses that will help move your career forward and enable you to find the perfect adventure job.
