Conservation Volunteer Projects

The word conservation for many will conjure up images of the Amazonian rainforest being torn down by loggers, or the coral reefs of the South Pacific being blighted by pollution. One way you could choose to spend your year abroad is helping protect landscapes and marine environments from growing threats like mass tourism and climate change. Giving your time to volunteer on a conservation project is a great way to see the world, while giving something back to the planet.
