HOAC is a non-residential centre located to the West of London. The Centre’s main asset is its 45 acre lake which hosts a multitude of watersports these are complimented by an extensive range of land-based activities. We offer programs to a wide range of clients from schools to management training groups. We also run an extensive range of BR, BCU and RYA courses for both adults and children throughout the year. We have an extensive climbing and high ropes facility built to complement our wide range of land activities.
What makes your company different from the competition?
HOAC prides itself on being a small charity run centre with excellent links with-in the local community. Many of our summer staff have come through our in-house training program. Introduced to water activities from age 8, becoming Young Leaders from 14 and then graduating to instructors once they are old enough and competent enough. This gives HOAC a unique 'family' feel which rubs off on our new seasonal team

5 full time staff
3 senior staff on rolling 10 month contracts
10 seasonal staff March - October

Why are you a good company to work for or train with?
We encourage all staff to increase their numbers of NGB qualifications. Each season we run instructor courses in Sailing, Windsurfing and Kayaking. As well as more specialised training in Stand-Up-Paddleboarding, Sculling, Safety Boat driving.
We run a trainee program for instructors who are either new to the industry or wish to gain NGB qualifications whilst being paid to instruct.
